Meet the Independent Roof Inspection Team Servicing the GTA

At Independent Roof Inspection Services, we were experienced roofers prior to starting our roof inspection company in 2011. Roofing was what we did. We all climbed up ladders, loaded building materials and made a mess. However, when we were done, the property was always thoroughly cleaned up and the roofs didn’t leak anymore. We had a lot of satisfied customers but after years of being roofers, it was time for us to finally try something new. Because owner Dave Baughn had seen many mistakes and bad contractors throughout his years as a roofer, he decided something needed to be done. Desiring to give consumers a place they could turn to for honest, reliable advice, he grabbed a handful of reputable roofers and asked them to join him in his new enterprise.

 

Today, as your friendly independent roof inspection services provider, our company is made up of a guy with a broken nose who is one of the best cedar roofing guys in town, a flat-roof / hot-tar guy who has been both sun- and asphalt-burned, an asphalt shingle Newfie with bad knees, a slate expert from Europe and a flat roof leak specialist. We’ve completed roofing projects ranging from chicken coops to Trump Towers and everything in between, all the way down to Grandma’s bungalow. Some of us look sharp in suits and others look like, well, like roofers. But between us, we have over 100 years of combined roofing experience to make us well-qualified inspection experts.
