Gavinchi is a family owned business established in Toronto, Ontario. With more than 20 years of experience, we offer a variety of services in order to give your home that new look that you were looking for, or that special detail it was missing.

We work closely with our clients in order to keep their wants in line and gear them towards the right direction. Our home decorating services include design advice, colour and style consulting, and furniture layout.

We also offer custom-made window covering services, upholstery and re-upholstery service, painting services and more. Our company thrives on making your home look its best, while keeping its unique personality.

Luzmarina was born in Bogota, Colombia where she lived for most of her life, there she studied graphic design and quickly pursued her career in interior decorating. She decided to start her own business and founded Gavinchi in 1992.

In 2002, she moved with her family to Toronto, Canada and began her new life. In 2004 she decided to open Gavinchi in Toronto. Over the next couple of years, Luzmarina updated her studies by taking the Sheffield School of Interior Design course and a course by Debra Gould of Staging Diva on home staging.

Luzmarina has worked with a range of clients, from residential private customers to design firms to commercial clients. She has been working for over 6 years with Paula Velez –a Toronto-based designer who currently works hosting in the show Restaurant Takeover –. Separately, Gavinchi has been working with LUX design, a design firm based in Toronto, for over a year now.
