We specialize in Custom Faux Finishes, Color Consulting, Straight Paint jobs, Room Re-Do's, Design & Shopping advice. Also known as The Faux Finish Studio, my team and I work extra hard WITH you to figure out what works best on your walls. Whether it be a European texture, raised texture, Color Wash, 2-step Faux Finish, custom Faux Finish or just a straight, bold & beautiful color, we can help you with it all!!! We love working WITH you. Many designers will TELL you what to do, which can make some designers a bit intimidating to work with. That isn't a problem with us. When we come into your home or office, we listen to you. We learn about you. We want to know what you like, don't like, what is important you, etc.. Then we do our best to show you what will work in your space and together we make decisions as far as what colors to use, Faux Finish to create or where to put your sofa. Rest assured, we won't be talking you into anything you don't want. We want to please YOU and give you what you want!!!

Choosing a Faux Finish is so easy!! We have an abundance of samples that we bring with us to the consultation. They are all very large samples, ones we can hold up to your walls so you can get an idea what it will look like in your space. If we have a Faux Finish that you like, but the color just isn't right, we can even have one made for you in just a few days! Then you really can see what will be happening on your walls!!! We don't use fancy, expensive formulas on your walls. We only use traditional methods to create our masterpieces, just for you! We take pride in the fact that we are very careful while working in your home or office. When we are finished, not only will you have a fresh, new space, but it will look as if nobody had been there!! We guarantee that we will always do our best to make your home absolutely beautiful.

Judy – Owner & Artist of: Judy Treptau / Color.Paint.Design & also The Faux Finish Studio. I am a trained professional in the area of Faux Finishing. I have been painting for over 20 years. I started out as a stay-at-home Mom for many years, raising my 3 wonderful boys!!!! When my boys were all in school, I decided to put my Faux Finish skills to the test and start my own business. I went to Faux Finish school in Atlanta, Georgia and have never looked back!!!! I not only love painting, I also enjoy shopping for sales, scrap booking and cooking! Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family and friends.

Robin – Judy's Assistant. Robin is a wonderful Straight Painter, which allows Judy to save her arm for the Faux Finishing!!! She also was a stay-at-home Mom for many years, raising 3 wonderful daughters!!! Besides painting, Robin enjoys cooking, shopping at craft sales and spending time with her family & friends!!

Vic – Judy's Assistant and husband. Vic is so helpful when it comes to those TALL jobs!! He is the brawn of the team and is also a wonderful Straight Painter. Vic not only works with Judy, but also has a business of his own. When he's not working, he enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, snowmobiling, and of course, being with our family & friends!!!
