We are a family owned and operated window treatment business located in the Santa Clarita Valley with a solid reputation in the industry.  Shutter World was started in 1996 by Bryan and Anita Buhtz.  Bryan began installing shutters in 1986 in the San Fernando Valley where he learned all aspects of the shutter business.   Ten years later we decided to start our own shutter business and began working out of our home office and oversized garage in Burbank.  A few years later our business expanded considerably and we could no longer work out of our home.  In 1999, we moved Shutter World to an industrial building in the Valencia Commerce Center and purchased a home in Santa Clarita to raise our family.   In 2007 we purchased an industrial condominium in the Rye Canyon Business Park in Valencia where Shutter World is today.
