Miltenberger & Co was founded in 1945
by Pierre Miltenberger in New Orleans, LA. The family business grew and prospered and was taken over by Pierre’s son Lee. Lee moved the agency to Slidell, La, north of New Orleans, in the early 1960’s where he was successful insuring the bustling home builders industry. As the agency grew, its services expanded to all forms of insurance.

Lee Miltenberger retired in 2006 and sold the agency to Doug Hendry. Doug has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, both as an agency owner and a company representative.

Today Miltenberger & Co is a full service independent insurance agency offering both personal and commercial insurances of all kinds.
