Coastal Home Inspection Services Inc. primarily offers two types of home inspections:

Our inspections conform to the Standards of Practise and Code of Ethics for the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI). All major systems of the building will receive a comprehensive visual analysis by your inspector.

Upon completion of the inspection, you will receive an easy-to-read report, identifying the condition of the major components of the house which are visible at the time of inspection.

The report is available in a variety of media, and will be presented in the most practical way or ways for each client:

  • Hard Copy (paper) in a binder
  • Compact Disc in pdf format
  • Email in pdf format
This is particularly helpful for clients who are moving to the Island from out of province, or those who wish to review the conditions with relatives or contractors.

Clients are encouraged to be present during the inspection where possible, so questions can be answered, and areas of interest discussed. For long-distance clients, the report would be reviewed by telephone (using our toll-free number) for a detailed discussion with the inspector.
