I began my insurance career at the Pearce Insurance Agency in 1971. I later went to work for W.I. James and Son Insurance, Hodges, Fogleman & Coffey which was later changed to Hodges Insurance, and then Insurance One.
Owning the agency has been a lifelong dream come true for me.

My customer service representative and key employee is Linda Carter. Linda comes with over 28 years experience in the insurance profession. She accumulated most of her experience at the Pearce Insurance Agency and later at the Mayfield Agency in Mooresville.

Linda Young was manager of Habig's Casuals for over twelve years then worked as a teller at Home Bank for two years. After leaving the bank she was a receptionist for W. I. James Insurance Agency. In March of 1996 she obtained her Property & Casualty license and started working at Hodges Insurance then moved to Morgan County Insurance Agency. She has been at Burpo-Gose Insurance Agency for over four years.

Henry (Butch) Hayes. After losing his job of 25 years due to company relocation, Butch has pursued a new career in insurance. He has also been a representative for AFLAC for over two years. Butch has teamed up with Burpo-Gose Insurance Agency to specialize in selling life, health, long term care, disability and annuities. Along with AFLAC, we have several other A+ companies available to our clients.

Steve is a lifelong resident of Martinsville. He graduated from Martinsville High School in 1978 and completed a bachelor's degree at Indiana State University. He is dedicated to serving this community where he raised three daughters who are currently pursing higher education. He is also a member of the Fall Foliage Festival Board. His experience in the insurance profession is extensive. He has over eighteen years as an agent and is eager to begin a new chapter in his career with Burpo-Gose Insurance Agency.
