My name is Ellie Peters and I am a Mortgage Associate with Verico Canada First Mortgage.  I specialize in Residential and Commercial lending. I have the support of a great company, surrounded with a excellent broker and fantastic team of mortgage associates with one goal in mind---to give you the best financial strategy in making one of the most important purchases in your life.

Born in Fernie(Natal) B.C. , a coal miner’s daughter I saw firsthand what hard work meant! I was raised and live in Lethbridge Alberta.  I am married and mother of two. I come from a very compassionate, loving and passionate Italian family where hard work and helping people is just the way of life!
My professional background is in retail sales/buyer and marketing, publishing and promotions and non-profit. For over 35 years I have been helping people. The one thing that I absolutely love to do! I’m Italian what can I say!

I worked for the Lethbridge Herald for 16 years covering all of southern Alberta. I owned my own marketing company and published my own magazines, website design and concepts. I helped businesses with their business get started to getting bigger and better! I hosted my own tradeshows.  Such as the Southern Alberta Bridal Show, the Women Show,The Safety expo and many others. I have also worked on political campaigns for MLA’s and five City council officials.

I love to volunteer and help our community as well as surrounding communities!  I sat on the Exhibition Board for 6 years and served on 5 committees on the board, and am a Rotarian for many years.  Worked with the Lethbridge Police Department on their Crime Free Multi Housing program to ensure a safer living environment for families. Currently I also sit on the Nobleford Parks and Recreation Society where we just raised and built a Playground/splashpark/outdoor gym!

My biggest achievement that changed my life completely, was volunteering as District Manager for Southern Alberta- Child Find Alberta.  I opened 3 offices in one year, all with the wonderful support of volunteers and southern Albertans!  I work a lot with the non profits, school councillors in our area and criminal justice, with the main focus “OUR KIDS”.  My passion - Making our children a priority!

How did I end up in Mortgages? It is all about helping people! That is what I am about. I am a hard worker and will work hard to make your dream come true. To me a house is just not a house, it is your home! I work with my clients from beginning to end, whether it is building or repairing credit, buying their first home, refinancing , buying or expanding  a business or adding to their portfolio.  Those that know me will tell you , I am passionate about everything I do .  I will work hard for you and will not give up until I have exhausted every possibility for you to make your goal/dream a reality...That is a promise!
