Sorg Insurance Agency Inc. has been a family owned business for over 60 years. Located in Independence, IA, the agency is a full service agency representing several insurance companies to provide all your insurance needs. Sorg Insurance Agency Inc. is an independent insurance agency, meaning we work for our clients, not a company!

Susan E. Sorg Bevans started working at her father’s agency in 1991, upon graduating from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Marketing Management. She focused mainly on personal lines of insurance, but has expanded to all lines, including commercial, life, health, farm, and crop. She has managed the agency for over 10 years, and at the end of 2009, became an owner and President of the corporation.
