ABOUT US Ian C. Kuehl Born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, Ian is a graduate of Queen's University (B.A Hons) and the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor (J.D). Immediately after graduation, Ian returned home to article with a well respected law firm in Pembroke and was thereafter called to the bar in 2011. Ian's practice focuses primarily on residential and commercial real estate, drafting wills and powers of attorney, administering estates, estate litigation and corporate & commercial law. Ian also has experience with municipal law, employment and civil litigation. Ian is a member of the Renfrew County Law Association (RCLA), the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) and the Canadian Bar Association (CBA). Ian currently serves as a member and Vice-Chair of the Pembroke Police Services Board and has formerly served on the executive boards of the RCLA and a Pembroke & Laurentian Valley Handi-Bus. Bruce Leach Called to the bar in 1979, Bruce is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (Honours B.A.) and the faculty of Law at the University of Windsor (LL.B). After being called to the bar, Bruce returned to the Ottawa Valley and opened his own practice as a sole practitioner. Bruce's areas of practice include residential & commercial real estate, severances, land use planning & development, wills, posers of attorney, estate administration, and corporate and commercial law. For thirty years, Bruce proudly served as Renfrew County's part-time Area Director for Legal Aid Ontario and currently presides as a Deputy Judge of the Small Claims Court for the County of Renfrew. Bruce is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Renfrew County Law Association (RCLA). He is a past president of the Renfrew County Law Association. |
