Often we are asked where the name “Branstone” came from? We put a lot of thought into our company name and although we wanted to be identified nationally and regionally, we recognize that many clients have strong roots in the community. We chose “Bran” from Brandon and “stone” from the keystone province, a recognized moniker for Manitoba. The addition of “Financial Strategies” describes the work that we are passionate about. Our logo is an abstract shape of our province integrating the four pillars of financial security planning (liquidity, disability, retirement, financial security at death). The “dot” in the bottom left hand corner represents southwestern Manitoba, and we chose harvest colours for our logo as it best represents our community.

Joining Kevin in the Branstone Financial Strategies Inc. Brandon office are Tanice Taylor and Kristie Miller – both financial security advisors – as well as Jena Ratz, our administrative assistant. We also have an associate advisor, Debbie Lang, whose practice and office resides in northwestern Ontario.

We feel that it is our responsibility as business owners to help shape the communities in which we live. Every little bit makes a difference so we are pleased to support the United Way, The Women’s Resource Centre, the YMCA Strong Kids program, the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair, the Brandon Wheat Kings, the Brandon Men’s Curling Bonspiel, the Relay for Life, and the Pinkest Owl Charity golf tournament amongst other local community events in Manitoba and northwestern Ontario.

Our team approach lends itself to education-focused financial advice so that clients can make informed decisions. Beyond our Branstone Financial Strategies Inc. team in Brandon and Ontario, through Freedom 55 Financial, we have access to specialists in every area of financial planning to help clients put comprehensive financial plans in place.
