I constantly strive to keep abreast of the latest advances in the health and wellness community. I am involved in an ongoing effort to further my education in every possible way. I have been involved in the healing industry now for the majority of my life. I grew up in New Zealand, came to America when I was 18 and discovered Big Bear in 1997 when I did my first massage. I have been to massage school numerous times, of which the most recent I completed the below course to aquire state certification.
That is where I met Robert Miko, our accupuncturist who has taught masssage for over 30 years and now works at Altitudes Massage & Spa doing both massage and accupuncture. He has the amazing ability to feel things we don’t. He was Bob Hope’s personal Masseuse, he is still Richard Simmons. Some other notables he worked on regularly were Penny Marshal, Sylvester Stalone, Linda Evans, Darryl Hannah, and many many more.
