Deep Roots

While the original Provincial Civil Servants (North York) Credit Union was incorporated in 1953 and has maintained its head office in Toronto, it is not the same credit union that started through the efforts of 23 employees within their workplace. We have grown into something quite unique. Through change, growth and the coming together of several like-minded credit unions, Provincial Alliance has become a credit union that proudly serves communities across Ontario while still maintaining its co-operative foundation; including its original ideals and its commitment to our member owners.

Provincial Civil Servants (North York) Credit Union, Thunder Bay Education Credit Union, Lakehead Provincial Civil Servants Credit Union, Kakabeka Falls Community Credit Union, Slate River Community Credit Union, Port Arthur Dominion Civil Service Credit Union, Thunder Bay Civil Service Credit Union, Ontario Government Employees Credit Union in London and Uni-Queen Provincial Civil Servants Credit Union have merged together to form the new Provincial Alliance Credit Union.
