Personal Injury

Our personal injury law team has successfully concluded hundreds of personal injury claims and has resulted in millions of dollars for our clients. We can help you obtain the compensation you deserve if you have been injured in an accident caused by the negligence of another.

We routinely handle claims in negligence arising out of motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall accidents, occupier’s liability and medical malpractice. We are committed to the physical and economic recovery of our clients. We represent only the Plaintiffs and never the Insurance Company.

 Free Initial Consultation
The initial consultation respecting a personal injury claim is provided at no charge at Lorway MacEachern. If you decide to pursue your claim with Lorway MacEachern, we provide our services on a contingency fee basis, meaning we are paid fees only if we recover compensation for you.

If You Are Involved In A Motor Vehicle Accident
• Seek medical attention immediately if you are injured and continue to visit your doctor on a regular basis for as long as your injuries last.
• Keep a diary and record your injuries, episodes of pain and out of pocket expenses.
• Notify Police to give a statement
• Get the name, address and telephone number of any witnesses who may have been present at the scene.
• Obtain the name, address, telephone number and insurance information of the other driver
• DO NOT discuss the accident with anyone or admit that you were at fault.
• DO NOT speak to an adjuster without first speaking to a lawyer.

Damages
The amount of any damages you are entitled to often depends on the nature of your injury and the amount of your expenses. You are entitled to damages for pain and suffering, and in addition, loss of earnings or loss of earning capacity may add to your claim. There may also be other damages, such as damages to compensate for the loss of an ability to perform household tasks, for which you may also be entitled. In certain cases, you may also be entitled to damages to compensate for the cost of future medical care. Each case is unique, however, and should be discussed with a lawyer. The Lorway MacEachern Personal Injury Law Team will take the time to carefully evaluate the monetary value of your claim and work with you to ensure the maximum possible dollar recovery.

Do I Have A Case
If you would like the legal team of Lorway MacEachern to review the facts of your case and to contact you to discuss whether or not you have a valid claim for damages, please e-mail or fax the following information:

1. When did the accident occur?
2. What were the circumstances surrounding the accident?
3. Did you receive an injury as a result of the accident which causes you ongoing pain or functional limitation? (If so, please describe)
4. Were you unable to continue working or participating in your regular recreational/social activities as a result of your injuries?
5. Did you, or do you continue to have difficulty completing your routine household chores or yard work as a result of the accident?

Should you prefer to meet with a lawyer in person, please e-mail your request for a free 30 minute consultation to one of our personal injury team lawyers:
