Stones Throw Golf Course

Stones Throw Golf Course is nestled along the scenic Rum River in Central Minnesota, a convenient hour drive north of the Twin Cities. Stones Throw is the pride of the Milaca golf community. The course is open to the public and owned by its members. Every decision made at our facility is made by golfers for golfers.

The Milaca golf course itself is a gem, challenging the serious golfer with a thought-provoking layout while at the same time relaxing the casual player with its wonder, scenic beauty. Two holes are adjacent to the Rum River. Six holes intertwine O'Neill Brook, and on many other holes ponds come into play.

In 2000, the course welcomed 11 new holes next to the forest and shifting terrain. This addition gave the Stones Throw Golf Course a much appreciated face lift. The course has continued to mature wonderfully, with each hole developing it's own distinct character. The course is a par 70, the distance ranges from 4,740 yards to 6,103 depending on which tees a golfer selects, and it has a rating of 70.2 Slope 126.

Before being named Stones Throw, the course was known as The Milaca Golf Club. The same friendly staff has remained, and we can't wait to welcome you for your next round of golf!
