PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
We believe
- Each child has been fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and must grow into the knowledge of Jesus Christ in order to develop to his/her fullest potential.
- In the birth, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God.
- That the parents have a mandate from God to rear their children in the admonition, honor and respect of the Lord.
- That KKCC's biblical role is to work in conjunction with the home to mold students to be Christ-like. When your child is placed in any type of daycare, it should be kept in mind that a daycare center is not planned nor operated as a substitute for the home, but rather as a supplement to the home.
-
That the biblical and philosophical goal of KKCC is to develop students into mature, Christ-like individuals who will be able to exhibit a Christ-like life. Of necessity, this involves the school's understanding and belief of what qualities or characteristics exemplify a Christ-like life. Even though parents may personally believe differently, while enrolled at KKCC, all students are expected to exhibit the qualities of a Christ-like life taught by the school and to refrain from certain activities and behavior.
