I was born and raised in Rockford Illinois, I’ve been married 33 years, have two awesome daughters, and 3 grandchildren. I did warehouse work out of high school for 3 years, started in the pool and spa business for the next 8 years. In 1983 I obtained my real estate license, I went to work selling real estate for my father’s business,Johnson & Maurer in 1991. In 2008, I started a real estate franchise as an investor, Keller Williams Realty Signature. I stayed there until 2015 when I sold my stock and started Maurer Real Estate Group.
