Sharon has practiced law with private firms since 1978 as she enjoys the flexibility of being self-employed. She prides herself with her involvement with the legal community, including her Canadian Bar Association membership since 1978, and helping to organise two Bar Association conventions. She also served for a great many years as the Secretary, then Treasurer and then President of the Saskatchewan section of the Saskatchewan CBA Real Property and Wills section and various sub-committees, as well as attending the Family Law section on a regular basis. In February 1987 she completed an intense 40-hour week of Collaborative Training with the Centre for Dispute Resolution and updated this training in 2005 with Palliser Conflict Resolution and has been a member of the Collaborative Lawyers of Saskatchewan (now collaborative Professionals of Saskatchewan) since its inception. Sharon also was a member of and frequently attended meetings of the Regina Estate Planning Council.
