Since 1974,CENTURY 21 Broadhurst & Associateshas served the Grand Strand area’s real estate needs. J.P. McAlpine, O’Dell Marsh and Rachel Broadhurst, all former real estate brokers with their own companies, organized the firm, McApine, Marsh & Broadhurst in October 1973.
In 1979, the three partners McAlpine, Marsh & Broadhurst decided to join the CENTURY 21-franchise organization, which they felt would change the face of the real estate industry, andCENTURY 21 & Associateswas born! The industry was changing at break neck speed. Technology and computerization were taking over the real estate business. It was exciting to be a part of these events.
In the early 80’s, Mr. Marsh and Mr. McAlpine both retired, leaving founding partner Rachel Broadhurst and her husband Larry Broadhur
